Over the last year, business has been growing so fast, our lead times have grown to the point where we’re simply turning away business for lack of resources. Clients don’t want to wait six months to get their product to market, but we’re struggling to find qualified personnel to handle the work load. Ideally, we want to hire people instead of turning away work. You can help us do that and help yourself in the process. Here’s how.

We will check your online presence (github, google code, stack overflow) to look at some of your code, documentation, and discussion thread contributions.
Once we know who you are and a little about your background, we dive right into code. Sometimes, the best way to gauge someone’s abilities and philosophies is to ask them to explain code they’ve never seen before. We’ll share screens and show you some of our most current code and ask you to tell us what it does and why. How you interact with our team during this exercise will tell us everything we need to know about your skill level, your awareness of your skill level, and how you communicate in a stressful situation.
- Mid-level rubyists, with 2-5yrs experience with Ruby, including Rails 3.x
